Black Brant V - Rocketarium

Standing over 78 cm tall, the Rocketarium Black Brant V is a large flying model rocket capable of high flights on an F motor before returning back to Earth so it can be flown over and over again. Unlike most model rockets, the Black Brant V contains an ejection baffle system which means that no recovery wadding is required for flight.

Assemblying this kit requires an itermediate skills as the fin must be tapered by hand to render a realistic model.

Since this rocket model uses "D" or "E" motors, it requires a launch pad with a 5mm launch rod (available separately), such as the Estes Porta Pad "E" or the Aerotech Mantis, and an electric launch controller such as the Estes Launch Controller "E." If you plan to use only Estes D or TSP motors, you can use the Estes Astron II, Estes Electron Beam, or Klima controller.

If using Aerotech motors, a 12-volt launch controller, such as the Aerotech Interlock Controller or the Estes PS II Launch Controller, is required. If using F motors, a 6mm launch rod on a stable launch pad such as the Estes PS II or the Aerotech Mantis is highly recommended.
