Data Controller

For your information, the data controller is Sierralab di Stefano Figini - Via Quarto Cagnino 24 - 20153 Milan - ITALY

What data we collect

The European directive 2016/679 requires us to inform you how we use your data that we collect through this site or that are taken from external services such as Google, Facebook, etc.

First of all we would like to tell you that your data is used exclusively for the operation of this site, or to send you the orders you make and to contact you in case we should communicate something important about your orders.

We have no interest in using your data in any other way, and we do not give it to anyone unless it is mandatory to ship your orders. The only exception is if the judicial authorities require them. In that case the law obliges us to reveal them, but we hope to never find ourselves in this unfortunate situation...

The data that we collect are those necessary to identify you and send your orders: name, surname, shipping address, email address. If you wish to receive your orders at an address different from your home (your office, your parents, your grandmother...) you will communicate it to us and we will keep that data so you can use it later for other orders without having to rewrite every time.

If you request an invoice we will also ask you the VAT number and the tax code, if you are a company we will ask you also the company name and the registered office.

We ask you the phone number because the couriers want it and also to contact you in case of need. The couriers need to call you if there are problems in the delivery, or even to send you text messages that warn you of the upcoming delivery, all to your exclusive advantage.

Obviously when you register you will give us your username and password, but this remains secret to us so much that we can not read it in any way. At most we can change it, but only if you ask us.

In addition to this data we also record your gender (only for our internal statistics) and your date of birth. We need this because we can not sell anything to children under 13 if they are not assisted by a parent, and some items can only be sold to adults.

However later in this text you can read the details on various data that are collected, if you feel like it.

The data we collect are mandatory, that is, they are used to provide you with our service consisting of the shipment of the material you order. If we could not collect them we could not send you anything. In case we ask you optional data you can always refuse to give it to us, and for any doubt (we ask ourselves what they could be ...) you can contact us at our email address that we have written at the top of the text.

Regarding cookies we have explained very well what we use and how we use them in the final part of this text, all respecting the current law. However, we do not use any profiling cookies because we do not care.

Finally we must warn you that if you communicate in any way the data of other people other than you, and if you exchange this data through our sites, you implicitly declare to have the full right to do so and relieves us from any liability towards third parties. You know how these things go...

How we treat your data and where we keep them

How we treat them

You can feel comfortable because we take all necessary measures to prevent your data from being disclosed to you without our knowledge. We use computer systems (in practice our computers and servers on which our sites run).

In addition to us, in some cases, other people involved in our work may have access to your data, for example server administrators hosting our sites. If you are interested, you can always ask us for an updated list of third parties that can have access to your data.

Where we keep them

Guess where? Your data is stored at our headquarters, and in any other place where those who have to treat them are located. Again, if you are interested in more information, contact us as well.

How long we keep them

Simple: for the time necessary to provide the service. We are not particularly interested in your data, except to do what you asked us to do. So we are not going to occupy expensive space on our servers if it is not needed. If you want you can request the cancellation of your data at any time, and you can be sure that we will do it instantly!
