Get full data from your rocket flight!
The AltimeterTwo measures altitude but also the speed of your rocket, and 8 more important data. And displays them on an easy to read screen.
Only one button is needed to power on/off and to read data. You just have to turn it on, zero it out by keeping the button depressed, attach it to the rocket and launch. When it's back, the speed and altitude reached is displayed on a screen, in easy to read digits.
This makes it an ideal device for experiments, student projects, competitions or just to get information about your flight, maybe to fine tune your rocket.
Altitude and speed are just two of the information given. The AltimeterTwo records also the burn time, the acceleration (peak and average), the total coast time, time from apogee to ejection, altitude at ejection, average descent rate of the recovery device, and total flight duration, from lift-off to landing. This is extremely useful to choose the motor delay, the parachute size and to adjust your rocket design.
Its 3-axis accelerometer allows it to get the speed and other events like burnout or ejection.
The AltimeterTwo comes pre-charged, you do not need to charge it the first time you turn it on.
At power on, the AltimeterTWO automatically scrolls through the last flight data:
Altitude to 9000 m ASL.
Supersonic speed measurements.
Max acceleration: 23G, up to 40G if carefully mounted
Altitude: nearest foot or nearest meter.
Speed: nearest 1 Km/h (or 1 MPH)
Acceleration: nearest 0.1G
Barometric pressure 25 samples/second with 18 bits precision.
Acceleration sampled 250 times/second on all three axis at the same time with 15 bits precision
NOTE:
The AltimeterTWO will NOT work in model airplanes, kites, falconry or balloons.
Data cannot be transferred to a computer. The cable included cord is for battery charging only.
