Low Boom SST - Estes

Supersonic transport (SST) was supposed to be the future until too loud sonic booms limited the places where these planes could fly.
Estes thought of proposing a quiet supersonic transport plane: the Low-Boom SST could start a new era of supersonic passenger flights.

However, it is only a flying rocket model, great for fun but certainly not able to carry passengers! This does not detract from the beauty of this kit, both in terms of aesthetics and construction.

The kit includes laser-cut balsa parts, including realistic "nacelles" for the under-wing motors, a full set of decals and of course the parachute.

To fly this model you will need a C6-3 type engine.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, primer, paint. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad or Klima Launch Pad with 5 mm launch rod, Estes Electron Beam Launch Controller or Klima Launch Controller, model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding.
Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
