If you are looking for a rocket kit with a different shape, Terra can be for you. With more than 40 cm in length and 35 mm in diameter it is not among the smallest of the "Classic" line of kits, and shares all the features of the other kits of this line, but with a very special fin configuration.

The Terra fins are mounted asymmetrically, giving the rocket a futuristic space plane look. Two fins have the shape of true wings, while the third acts as a “rudder”.

The construction is classical, you should glue the fins in place, but the whole is made very easy by the fins slots already cut in the fuselage and a plywood template that helps aligning and holding the fins while the glue dries.

The other features of this kit are typical of all Klima kits: fins made of light plywood (they don't break!), kraft cardboard body tube covered with a shiny layer, plastic nosecone, plastic parachute to be assembled, shock cord half in kevlar which guarantees an almost eternal duration.

The model flies with 18 mm engines type B, C and D9. You can use both Klima and Estes B and C motors. To launch the rocket you need a launch pad with a 3 mm rod, like the Klima Launch Pad or the Estes Astron II, a launch controller like the Klima controller or the Estes Astron Launch Controller, and of course the batteries.
