Nike Smoke 1/10 - Estes

Another highly sought after scale kit has returned to Estes. The Nike Smoke is a 1/10 scale model and is actually a pretty straight build. The Nike Smoke has always been a favourite among rocketeers of any age, because of its long conical nose and its trapezoidal fins with bright colors.
This Estes Nike Smoke has been put in prodution again after many years and it is a beautiful rocket to build and fly.  

The assemblying is traditional, with pre-cut balsa fins to be finished and glued to the rocket body.

This rocket requires a launching pad with 3 mm launch rod like the Estes Porta Pad II, the Estes Astron Launch Pad or the Klima Launch Pad, and an electric launch controller as the Estes Electron Beam, the Estes Astron Launch Controller or the Klima Launch Controller.

The kit includes:

• Every part needed to build the rocket model (tubes, rings, plastic parts, etc.)
• Water decals
• Pre-assembled plastic parachutes
• Detailed instructions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD IT: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, primer, paint. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH IT (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad or Klima Launch Pad with 5 mm launch rod, Estes Electron Beam Launch Controller or Klima Launch Controller, model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding.
Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
