Black Brant XII PRO - Estes

The Estes Black Brant XII is a 1:14 scale model of the Canadian three-stage sounding rocket, an ideal project for experienced rocket modelers.
Although the kit is single-stage, the model is fun and challenging to assemble. It features molded plastic parts, details to finish and build, and balsa fins to assemble and shape.

The real Black Brant XII is a reliable and affordable sounding rocket that NASA still uses today. With a vehicle success rate exceeding 98%, it has been used for over 1000 launches and is continually updated to meet NASA's evolving needs.

This 1:14 scale, single-stage replica of a member of the Black Brant family, stands 137 cm tall, features detailed water-based decals, and uses 29 mm motors (single-use or reloadable) to reach great heights. The 60 cm nylon recovery parachute ensures the rocket is recovered safely and ready for future use.

Requires an Estes Pro Pad II launch pad with a 6 mm launch rod. Use with Aerotech motors (disposable or rechargeable) requires a 12-volt launch controller, such as the Aerotech Interlock Controller or the Safepyro WiFi controller.
