Easy returns for kits and accessories
This model rocket kit embodies the essence of the ALARM, known for its crucial role in Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) by neutralizing enemy radars.
Designed for hobbyists with advanced assembly skills, this kit provides a rewarding and engaging build experience. The assembly entails gluing about 30 parts and tapering the fins, offering a satisfying challenge for seasoned modelers.
The kit comprises quality materials, including laser-cut parts for precision assembly, a durable plastic nose cone, a 3D printed tailcone, and a pre-assembled 45 cm plastic parachute for reliable recovery post-launch.
Motor compatibility is versatile, designed for use with D and E rocket motors (not included), with a range of recommended engines such as D12-5, E12-6, E20-7, E30-7, and more.
The integrated ejection baffle system eliminates the need for wadding, ensuring a smooth parachute deployment for a gentle descent.
Personalize your ALARM model with the included vinyl and water-slide decals, bringing a slice of military aviation history to life.
For a successful assembly and launch, you'll need a motor, igniter, launch system, maxi launch rod, carpenter's glue, sandpaper, hobby knife, masking tape (optional), primer, and paint.
As this rocket uses “D” or “E” type engines, you need a launch pad that accepts a 5 mm launch rod (available separately) to launch it, like the Estes Porta Pad “E” or the Klima Launch Pad, and an electric launch controller like the Estes “E” launch controller. If you plan to use only D engines you can also use the Estes Astron II Launch Controller, the Estes Electron Beam or the Klima Launch Controller.
To use Aerotech motors you need a 12 volt launch controller as the Aerotech Interlock Controller, or the Estes PS II Launch Controller. If you plan to use a powerful E motor we strongly suggest to use a 6 mm launch rod with a large and stable pad like the Estes PS II or the Aerotech Mantis.
