The Space Corps Corvette Class, the first in the Estes "Space Corps" series, is a futuristic-looking flying model rocket. With this series of kits, Estes wanted to represent what could be space defense vehicles of the near future.

The kit is made with the famous Estes tubes in high quality kraft cardboard, balsa laser-cut fins, various details and a rich set of decals. Also included in the kit is a screw motor retainer.

The Space Corps Corvette Class flies with 18mm type B and C engines and is recovered with its included 30cm parachute.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, primer, paint. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad or Klima Launch Pad with 5 mm launch rod, Estes Electron Beam Launch Controller or Klima Launch Controller, model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding.
Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
