Description
High strength nylon parachute for mid-size model rockets.
PML Dura-Chute parachutes are professionally made by a real parachute factory. Their 15 degree multi-panel conical shape is the best for this type of application and ensures a high coefficient of resistance and great stability.
The fabric they are made of is 1.9 oz. (54 g) rip-stop nylon treated with a urethane layer to eliminate porosity and keep the fabric soft at the same time. The actual fabric weight is 89 g/m2.
All PML parachutes have a top spill hole to reduce oscillation and wind drift and sewn-in nylon lines. Large parachutes have the lines sewn all the way around the canopy, secured with nylon webbing and have a strong webbing sewn all the way around the edge of the canopy.
Rocket weight: 1000 - 1500 gr (for 4.5 - 9 m/s descent speed)
