An ideal accessory for the Altus Metrum TeleBT and all other devices that transmit data on the 430 MHz band.
This high gain directional antenna is the ideal choice for receiving data from the Altus Metrum on-board computers and transmitting commands to them.
The antenna has a classic Yagi configuration, with 3 directional elements for greater gain, which guarantees perfect reception of telemetry signals from your Altus Metrum on-board computer, on the 70 cm band (430 MHz).
The antenna is supplied disassembled, but assembly is very simple, and the instructions are clear. Simply attach the elements to the boom by screwing them onto the boom itself and connect the TeleBT to the connector. The adapter for the SMA connector of the TeleBT is also included with the antenna. The antenna is pre-tuned and ready to use.
The boom is square with rounded corners, and both it and the elements have plastic caps for safety. The antenna is equipped with a U-bolt for fixing to a support.
This antenna can also be used for any other transmission or reception on the 70 cm band.
If you are not using it for data link with the model, make sure not to apply a transmission power greater than 20 watts maximum, because the antenna is hand held. If fixed to a support the maximum power is 50 watts.
