Delphinus - Klima

Are you looking for a two-stage rocket easy to build? The Klima Delphinus is for you!

This rocket combines ease of assembly, within reach of anyone - including beginners - to the performance of a two-stager.

The assembly is made easy by the two plastic fin cans, which guarantee a perfect alignment and rapid construction. Instructions are written also in english, french and spanish.

One of the good features of this kit is its included parachute protection system, which eliminates the need of fireproof wadding. It's a kind of "maze" that forces the hot ejection gases to follow a tortuous route that prevents them from hitting the parachute directly. A big advantage because it guarantees a perfect protection.

Like all multi-stage rockets the altitude reached is very high, and with a choice of engines it is possible to accurately adjust it as you want. Of course, the Delphinus can also be launched in a single-stage version, using only the upper stage.

The recovery of the upper stage is guaranteed by the 40 cm plastic parachute included, that has to be assembled by following the instructions printed on it, while the first stage falls slowly to earth, braked by its large fins.

This rocket uses 18 mm standard engines, either Klima or Estes, of types A, B, C and Klima D9. 

To launch this rocket you need a launch pad with a 3 mm launch rod, like the Klima launch pad, the Estes Porta Pad II or the Estes Astron launch pad (not included) and a launch controller like the Klima controller, the Estes Electron Beam or the Estes Astron Controller (not included).
