Puck - Klima

The Puck is another rocket of the "Quick & Easy" familiy from Klima, the first European manufacturer of model rocketry kits and accessories. This line of kits includes very basic rockets, easy to assemble and intended mainly for beginners and for economical Klima and Estes engines.

Features:

The Puck is a simple model with a diameter of 35 mm, with a rather massive appearance. The plastic fins are easily mounted by sliding them in a plastic holder, which guarantees a perfect alignment without any special care.

The launch guide is integrated in this support and thus it does not require to be glued to the fuselage and is already perfectly aligned.

Instructions are well done and accompanied by clear illustrations. Note that, being a rocket kit made in Europe, the instructions are written in english, german, french, spanish and italian.

Total assembly time can be between 15 and 45 minutes, according to the ability of the builder or if you want to paint it.

As with all other Klima rocket kits, the shock cord is attached to the motor mount, and therefore there are no attachment points inside the fuselage which could disturb the ejection of the parachute. The shock cord is made half of Kevlar and half of elastic cord. This will not only ensure an almost eternal life but also a great strength.

The fuselage tube is glossy white kraft cardboard and does not require painting. The overall color of the model is ensured by the white fuselage, the black fins and nose cone, and the black fin can. Self-adhesive decals complement the aesthetic effect.

The model is suitable for 18 mm standard rocket engines, from B to D, therefore both Klima and Estes are good.

Recovery is through a 40 cm plastic parachute that needs to be cut from the pre-printed plastic sheet provided.

To launch this rocket you need a launch pad with 3mm launch rod, like the Klima Pad or Estes Astron II or Porta Pad, and a launch controller like the Klima Controller, the Astron II Estes Launch Controller or Estes Electron Beam.

Engines, glue and batteries are not included.
