Compact, easy to build and built from laser-cut cardboard, this rocket model flies with an Estes A10-0T engine and returns to the ground while falling slowly - ideal for small fields!

With enough detail to make this kit fun yet challenging, the Lunar Scout is suitable for all levels of rocket modelers. The kit includes laser-cut cardboard fins and other structural parts that come together to form an amazing flying rocket model. Intricately designed water decals add an extra note of realism.

Compact and lightweight, the Estes Lunar Scout is designed to fly well on Mini series engines.
The recovery takes place with the "featherweight" system: the rocket is so light that it falls back to the ground very slowly, slowed down by its aerodynamics.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, primer, paint. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad or Klima Launch Pad with 5 mm launch rod, Estes Electron Beam Launch Controller or Klima Launch Controller, model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding.
Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
