If you like scale rockets you cannot miss this 1/14 scale model of the famous surface-to-surface missile Honest John. Replicas of this rocket have always been a favourite. This one is designed for 24 mm motors, so you can fly it with Estes C11 and D12. You can also fly it with some Aerotech E-type motor, like the E15, E20 and the E18 reload for the RMS 24/40 reloadable motor.

Beside the special made nose cone, with all the detail you`d expect, the kit includes a 24 mm screw-on motor retainer, which is uncommon in kits this size and it is surely better than the standard steel hook we are used to.

The fins are laser cut from balsa and are made by 5 pieces each fin! This is to help in obtaining the double-wedged airfoil typical of the Honest John.

To complete the model decoration a kit of waterslide decals is included, and the recovery is granted by a large plastic parachute.

To launch this rocket you need a launch pad that can mount a 5 mm launch rod, like the Estes Porta Pad II or the Klima Launch Pad, and an electrical launch controller like the Estes Electron Beam or the Klima Launch Controller.

If you plan to use Aerotech composite motors we suggest a stronger launch pad like the Aerotech Mantis or the Klima launch Pad. You will also need a 12 volt launch controller like the Aerotech Interlock Controller or the Estes PSII Launch Controller.

Motors, paint, glues, launch pads and controllers are not included.
