Among the new rocket kits that LOC/Precision has added to its production there is also this magnificent AIM-54C Phoenix, one of the most famous and recognizable military missiles.

This kit allows you to build a semi-scale Phoenix, 66 mm in diameter. The fantastic thing about this kit is its motor mount: LOC has named it Modular Motor Can and consists of a base in which different adapters can be mounted. Therefore it is possible to mount a single 24 or 29 mm motor or a cluster of 18 or 24 mm motors. The combinations can be many and you can have much power without the need to buy expensive or even High Power motors.

The kit is made of of high quality parts, in the LOC/Precision tradition: 66 mm kraft cardboard tube, polypropylene nosecone, laser-cut birch plywood fins and centering rings.

The kit includes a kevlar and elastic parachute shock cord, all the necessary hardware, 60 cm nylon parachute, and a Nomex protection for the parachute. It also includes a sheet of self-adhesive vinyl decals to finish the model as in the images.

NOTE: the kit includes a 4x18 mm motor mount with which many different combinations and powers can be obtained. To use other combinations of motors (24 mm, 29 mm, 3x24 mm) you need to purchase additional adapters.
