The imagination of the designers of this rocket has produced a model that looks like a possible space liner of the future: The Ibis is a futuristic interstellar plane to transport tourists to vacation destinations on other planets. It can navigate both in the emptiness of space and through the thick atmospheres that surround the planets.
Based on a tube of almost 34 mm, this rocket will not go unnoticed. It is equipped with a resin tail cone, through-the-wall fins, and a plastic cone.
The kit is full of laser-cut parts, like all the fins and slots on the main body tube and on the air intake. It also has a tail cone with a slot for the engine hook already modeled. The kit is still relatively easy to assemble even though it is not recommended for beginners. The various stages of assembly and the construction of the "wings" in several parts make it a medium difficulty kit, suitable for those who already have modeling experience.
An interesting feature of the Ibis is the additional tube mounted on the bottom of the rocket. This acts as an additional stabilizer, making the rocket more stable. The tube has a sloping edge that makes it unique. In the past, this edge would have needed to be cut as part of the assembly process but this would have made the model less easy to build. So the inclination in the tube has been laser cut so all you have to do is glueing it and add the dorsal fins in their slots on the tube.
