This rocket is a tribute to the late great Estes model rocket designer, Mike Dorffler. The Astron Sprint was a great competition rocket for 18 mm motors, today Estes introduces this “XL” version for 24 mm motors for even higher altitudes.

Engines, glue and paints not included.

What you need to build it (not included):
Cutter, scissors, ruler, pencil, aliphatic glue, masking tape, transparent adhesive tape, fine abrasive paper, spray paints.

What you need to fly it (not included):

• Launch pad with 6 mm rod
• Launch controller (if using Aerotech engines it must be 12 volts)
• Engines (see list of recommended engines)
• Flameproof wadding or parachute protection sheets
