Launching an egg aboard a rocket model may seem a little strange, but it is not at all! A raw egg represents a perfect "astronaut": it has not negligible weight and must be gently brought back to the ground in order not to break, although it is strong enough to withstand the stresses of the flight. And in case something goes wrong ... you will have only made an omelet, without damage!
Egglofting is also a competition category for model rockets, and are a great way to test your modeling skills.
The Space Crater is a simple model to build, designed for those who want to have an egg-lofter but do not want to design it themselves. It is simple to build, the fins are made of plastic and fit into position, already perfectly aligned. The egg capsule is designed to protect the load during flight and on landing, and the model's body is already colored. Just apply the self-adhesive decals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD IT: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, wood glue, utility knife. (Tools, construction, and finishing materials not included.)
