The R-27 or K-27, known as the AA-10 Alamo (NATO reporting name) in the West, is a Soviet-made air-to-air missile.
This type of missile was designed to be used against any type of aerial target, be it an airplane or a cruise missile. It can also be launched against medium- to long-range targets day or night, in any weather conditions.
This highly-detailed Alamo military scale kit is excellent for small launch sites. Three (3) sets of fins and a boat tail give this scale model rocket kit lots of personality. It is a large and heavy model rocket for 24 mm motors, from D to F. Use TSP motors or Aerotech for a lot of fun!
The Alamo military scale rocket kit has three sets of laser-cut fins, for a total of twelve fins. Epoxy is required and CA glue is also recommended to assemble this kit.
The AA-10 Alamo comes complete with laser-cut centering rings, fins, Decals, Ejection Baffle, plastic Nose Cone and Tailcone and 38 cm Plastic Parachute Kit.
