Easy returns for kits and accessories
The Nike Apache is another classic kit returned from the past. It is a scale kit of the Nike Apache sounding rocket of the Sixties, almost 1/12 scale, for A, B, C and Klima D9 motors.
While some "scale" kits are quite a challenge to build, the Nike Apache is not. It can be built by anyone with basic modelling skills.
This rocket requires standard building techniques, the fins are laser cut balsa and have to be glued on the body tube surface, the special transition part is molded plastic as it is the nose cone.
This rocket requires a launching pad with 3 mm launch rod like the Estes Porta Pad II, the Estes Astron Launch Pad or the Klima Launch Pad, and an electric launch controller as the Estes Electron Beam, the Estes Astron Launch Controller or the Klima Launch Controller.
The kit includes:
- Every part needed to build the rocket model (tubes, rings, plastic parts, etc.)

- Pre-assembled plastic parachute
