Scaled after a one of a kind sounding rocket launched only once in 1968 by NASA to take measurements of the D-layer of the ionosphere (thus it's name), this scale model captures all the detail of the original. Standing nearly 1 meter tall, this easy to build rocket includes parts having the scale detailing added to them for fantastic realism. And finishing the model is simple following the simple painting guide in the instructions and easy to apply water transfer decals. The results will be truly a masterpiece for any scale rocket builder whether new or a pro. The D-Region Tomahawk launches on E engines and includes an easy to use adapter to launch on Estes D engines as well. Requires 5 mm launch rod - sold separately.
